CCL 5.1: Structured Content and AI Integration

CCL 5.1 enhances support for content-driven and AI-powered applications with Markdown and more.

Crystal Class Library® 5.1 enhances support for content-driven and AI-powered applications, introducing native Markdown support, structured content rendering, and OpenAI API integration.

The release adds a new BlockView class and Skin XML tag for displaying structured content in declarative user interfaces, a Markdown parser for loading content from .md files and other sources, and an OpenAI Responses API client for building modern AI-powered applications.

Together, these additions make it easier to create documentation tools, knowledge bases, help systems, AI assistants, and other content-driven applications based on CCL.

In addition to that, CCL 5.1 includes numerous enhancements, bug fixes, and platform improvements throughout the framework.
